Metekhi Church

Visit the Metekhi Church, the famous sulfur baths and ride on the cableway to view Narikala fortress. Pass across the 13th century Armenian St. George Church and a Jewish synagogue and end up at the fashionable Shardeni Street to enjoy the local cafes and watch the world go by.

Drive down from Tbilisi to Kakheti region also known as the cradle of Georgian Vineyards.. Our first stop is at “SimonaiZaoti” in Gurjaani, a small family cellar. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere Georgia style, listening to traditional songs as the sommelier hosts a master class preparing “Mtsvadi” . SimonaiZaoti” is a family run business making it cozy and intimate. The entire family joins in the fun as the eldest takes on the hand-made Fanduri (Georgian musical instrument) to get the party going.

Sighanghi, “city of love”

Sighanghi, “city of love” epitomizes a Romeo and Juliet story – the city’s fortress walls overlooking Alazany valley with stunning views . Sighnaghi has narrow cobbled streets, with winding, steep districts full of bright red tiled roofs. Stop by the local cellar “Pheasant’s Tears” to enjoy Georgian cheese and bread.

Twin’s Cellar

This feels like your grand parents’ farm house, a beautiful stretch of landscape maintained for visitors at any time. Exquisite food and beverages are cooked and served here inviting guests to engage and interact throughout. Our drive to Twin’s Cellar in Napareuli will be through the countryside viewing the gorgeous landscape of Georgia. To enrich our gastronomic pairing, the sommelier will host a master class along with local delicacies .

“Gvirabi” Tunnel

Tour the “Gvirabi”- tunnel, a unique cave that is cut in stone in the Caucasian mountain range. Year long natural temperatures are 10-12ºC. and this tunnel was originally built by the Soviet military. A different experience of its own.

Kindzmarauli Factory

Visit the Kindzmarauli factory for a gastronomical tour, involving tasting Georgian bread with Imeretian cheese. The splendid location boasts of a century old heritage to be explored with our experienced guide. After a tasting and pairing session , depart to Tsinandali to visit Gremi Monastery the 16th century architectural monument , the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel.

Prince Aleksandre Chavchavadze Museum

Georgia is a destination where one feels like royalty; plenty of royal houses to visit including Prince Aleksandre Chavchavadze in Tsinandali, which is now a museum. View the beautiful gardens and cellar with the sommelier in an interactive session. Alexander Chavchavadze refurbished the estate in 1835 then engaged in producing fine vintages at his estate by combining European influence and centuries-long Georgian traditions.

Telavi, excursion around the city

The Telavi, city excursion will take us through archaeological findings that date back to Bronze Age. Telavi is home to the region’s famous vineyards, art museums, castles and theater. The city tour will cover different stops while getting a chance to taste traditional dishes along the way.

Chateau Mukhrani

Prepare to live the life of royalty, even for just a moment, in Chateau Mukhrani, grandeur palace.
During this royal visit , uncover the history of Georgian royal family, its legendary history and visit Prince IvaneMukhranbatoni’s castle. Tour the vineyard, enjoy a tour of the factory, see the beautiful garden and the old cellars before sitting down for a delicious culinary experience of Georgian cheese, snacks and the famous “chacha” paired with a selection from the cellars.

Visit Iago’s Cellar.

Set off to Chardakhi and visit Iago’s vineyard and cellar, taste unique variations and discover its history and tradition from the sommelier. Iago Cellar is built in a traditional style and during the season guests can take part in the grape harvest as well as participate in traditional cooking.

A lovely old town exuding tranquility, Mtskheta is the coronation and burial place of Georgian kings, and the seat of the Patriarch known as the Bishop of Mtskheta. Mtskheta is aUNESCO Heritage Site and an ancient capital of Georgia.

Svetitskhoveli Cathedral

Magnificent, both inside and outside our excursion to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral delves into an important piece of Christian history. This is the place where Christ’s robe was buried. Constructed during the golden age of Georgia, the cathedral’s intricate architecture is adorned with beautiful stone carving.
