The picturesque Tajrish Bazaar near Imamzadeh Saleh shrine is a popular pilgrimage site and has delicious kebab restaurants and teahouses nearby. It is a great venue for shopping for traditional Iranian sweets, handicrafts and local merchandise. Great bargains on antiques and souvenirs.

Golestan Palace

The lavish Golestan Palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar era, embodying integration of Persian crafts and architecture with Western influences. The walled Palace is one of the oldest groups of buildings in Tehran, built around a garden featuring pools and has rich ornaments that date from the 19th century. It became a centre of Qajari arts and architecture a source of inspiration for Iranian artists and architects today

Tehran Grand Bazaar
