The world at her feet is a travel organization run by women and for women. It is aimed at the woman traveler who out of choice , chooses to travel alone. We feel that today’s woman is empowered enough to make her own decisions and this includes travel . When we met up with several women, single, married, divorced or widowed, we discovered that there was a common thread in all their conversations. All these women said that given a choice they would like to travel much more than they currently did (be it because of a over worked spouse who couldn’t take time off or not knowing how to go about planning a trip as a single woman and several other reasons).
Women, we discovered would love to travel more, but were uncomfortable at the thought of travelling alone and most thought that joining a "package” tour by the agents sounded too clinical and rushed.
